FAT bikes are popping up all over and with their ability to ride any terrain, they are probably a blast to ride. Since I havent ridden one yet for a test, I will simply pass on the positive feedback we get from those early adopters. So while the bikes are a simple go-anywhere type of rig ARGON has just upped the game with this first ever internal gear box FAT tire bike. The Argon FAT uses a Pinion Gear Box, the GATES Carbon belt drive system (which we are currently testing ourselves on a Single speed) and a Carver Trans Fat Suspension Fork.
The Pinion internal gear box is a 1:18 which means it has 18 Speeds tucked inside that super clean housing and this video puts it through the paces along with the suspsenion fork right after assembly. Is this a game changer? Watch the video to see how it performed on its maiden voyage.
