USGP - NorthWest Cup Kick Off - This Weekend

Now that the craziness of the Sea Beaver is behind us we can get to some real downhill racing and the start of the US Gan Prix season. Here's the 411 on the small but most excellent DH series in the most excellent of locations.

The first round of the 2013 US GRAND PRIX of Mountain Biking is set to commence this weekend, April 25^th-28^th, at the NW Cup in Port Angeles Washington. Many of the world’s top race teams & riders, including Trek World Racing, Factory Specialized, ARMA Energy Evil, Yeti, Cedric Gracia, Josh Bryceland, & many more, are here to compete in what is arguably the best downhill trails the Unites States has to offer.

The premier downhill race series in the United States, the USGP of Mountain Biking will be comprised of THREE world class events, starting in Port Angeles, Washington this weekend (April 25-28). The second round will be hosted at NW Cup in Ski Bowl Resort in Mt Hood, Oregon on July 13-14. The USGP finale will be on September 4-8 in conjunction with the Kamikaze Games at Mammoth Resort in Mammoth Mountain, California.

The Kamikaze Games will also introduce the inaugural USGP Enduro – a 3 stage Enduro event!
