Slovenian DH champion dies in non-bike incident

Five-time Slovenian downhill champion and two-time European Downhill Cup champion Zarja Cernilogar passed away yesterday after suffering a non-riding related fall near Kamnik Castle.

Zarja was just 26 years old when she was found near the stage of the Kamnik Music Festival. Zarja had apparently being laying there for several hours when they found the motionless body. It is speculated that she fell from the stage and no one saw her. There has been little information releases on about if there was any foreign substances present. It appears to just be a tragic accident.

She will be missed by all family and friends.
