Shimano R-300 Shoe Review

Shoes are one of the most important pieces of riding gear. A contact point for the entire ride, your shoes are all about performance and comfort. There is a reason why a majority of the Pro Peleton wear the R-300 shoes. They deliver the goods. Not as fast as a pro? Doesn't matter, there is no reason to cut a corner here when you're putting in the hours. When it was time to get new shoes, Bicycle World host Dean Henthorn choose the R-300 by Shimano for their features, reputation, and performance. UPDATE With several thousand miles put in since the fitting, I can report that the shoes are performing better than I hoped. The shoes breath, hold your heal in place, are ridiculously comfortable and by simply pushing my heal down I can get a blast of cool air through the sole of the shoe. With the custom fit, the R-300 are more comfortable than my trusty favorites were at their best - and those were the best shoes in their brands line-up. Would I recommend these??? An emphatic YES says it all.
