San Diego Custom Bicycle Show Announces 2010 dates

July 26th, 2010 4:41pm

If you love the individuality of fixed gear, single speed, road, cruiser and any other kind of frankenbike, then you should stop what you're doing right now and put San Diego on your calendar for next year.

It is a true bike geeks heaven. Super cool, super custom and in So. Cal. While there are some similarities to Hand Made Bicycle show, this show appears different because there is focus attention to customizing existing bikes - mostly old steel frame gems from the past that we can tell from the pictures. It's great to see existing metal look so cool and authentically retro. We bet there won't be much weight weenie preaching going on here. The show is coming off a successful inaugural year and registration is now open. Show promoters promise the show will be even bigger and better expanding to a 3 day event running from April 9-11, 2010. Another cool thing is the promoters appear to not have been bitten by the greed bug and will keep the exhibitor fees the same low price as 2009.

Want to see some pictures of what we mean by "custom"? Check out these from last years show. More information and registration forms can be downloaded at http://www.sandiegocustombicycleshow.com
