Red Bull Rampage is Back!

After a four year break, The Red Bull Rampage, the event that put mountain biking back on the map with it's massive air, technical lines and now slope style tricks - is back.

But don't knock yourself out trying to get out to Virgin Utah this weekend to see it go down. In perusing the official web site, the promoters make it clear that getting to the event may be a bigger challenge than riding some of the big lines. A four mile hike into the desert and highly restricted spectator area means the event was made for the photo opps and video makers, not spectators. So save yourself the trip and spend your cash on one of the new bikes we spied at this years Interbike. Keep your eyes open, because before you can say "presidential debate", photographs of the event will be gracing your favorite media.

The following athletes have been confirmed to attend Red Bull Rampage: The Evolution. Graham Aggasiz (CAN) Dan Atherton (GBR) Gee Atherton (GBR) Paul Basagoitia (USA) Darren Berrecloth (CAN) Robbie Bourdon (CAN) Garret Buehler (CAN) James Doerfling (CAN) Cedric Gracia (FRA) Geoff Gulevich (CAN) Trond Hansen (NOR) Mike Hopkins (CAN) Matt Hunter (CAN) Mike Kinrade (CAN) Cam McCaul (USA) Kelly McGarry (NZL) Alex Prochazka (CAN) Steve Romaniuk (CAN) Brandon Semenuk (CAN) Kurt Sorge (CAN) Kyle Strait (USA) Andrew Taylor (USA) Guido Tschugg (GER) Thomas Vanderham (CAN) Chris Van Dine (USA) Cameron Zink (USA)
