Columbia's Fastest Mountain Biker Takes on one of Columbia's Fast Tracks 

Marcelo Gutierrez is no doubt Columbia's fastest mountain biker. So when Marcelo says the course was running faster than pretty much any downhill race course in his home country, we believe him.

Here is Marcelo's video of his run on La Virgen. Not strewn with rocks, but pretty tight, and yes, high speeds and jumps on a very long five plus minute course.  As you can see, Columbia doesn't enjoy the massive world cup crowds

but with Marcelo continuing to be world class rider, that could change.
