Interbike Wrap-up

What do you get when you mix two days of desert sun, 15,000 new products, miles of trade show floor, strip clubs, gambling, overpriced food, industry parties and very little sleep?

Interbike 2008 - of course. It's where the industry meets to talk strategies, educate dealers and celebrate cycling at warp speed for five continuous days. Completing the week is like finishing a major Tour. You are thrashed and it takes two weeks to recover. With all the distractions work does happen. And for Bicycle World, we looked for new products that you may not necessarily find in every local bike shop but warrant your attention. Our goal is not to show you every picture of every new bike, but to show you products that are unique and offer you some real value. This year, the theme seemed to be commuter bikes, and bikes with electric motor help. Commuter apparel and bags were also hot as single speed 29ers continued their momentum (bad pun). Stay tuned as we will be uploading our videos of some items of these products.
