Word on the street about the coming of the tubeless road tires and wheels has been around for the some time. Was it leaked as a marketing test or with real intention? Well one tire company, Hutchinson Tires, has continued to not only talk road tubeless but also push the cause. It was hard to get press on these tires because there were no wheels available for the public. Until now. The tubeless set up was tested by Team Discovery extensively as did several of the big euro teams, some adopting them and others did not. But now with Shimano, Campagnola and Hutchinson bringing wheels to the market, it's time to see if making the leap to the world of tubeless is worth it.
