Four Cross dates for 2012- It's not dead by a long shot!

After the announcement that Four Cross would be dropped by UCI from the 2012 schedule the Four Cross Alliance was formed to fight for their discipline and keep it on the world stage.

To their credit, the Four Cross Alliance has announced they are close to announcing a full schedule for the 2012 season under the banner of the 4X World Series. Leading the way in support is Fort William who has already confirmed that they will indeed host a round of the 4x World Series and run it the same weekend as the UCI Downhill event. As in previous years, the 4X ers will race on Saturday and the Downhill will race on Sunday.

The Alliance has also announced that other venues and dates will be announced shortly.

Bicycle World TV is super pleased to hear the good news of this development. As a fan of all MTB events, 4x, four cross, mtn cross or what ever you want to call it, it is super fast and exciting. Many races in a short time span is great for fans, photographers, racers and the sport.
