Ellsworth Bike Review - Enlightenment 29

We tested the Ellsworth Enlightenment 29er. We crushed personal best lap times at the Old Pueblo on it, we hammered ourselves at the White Tank mountain race on it and pushed it to its limits on the Bicycle World Test Loop. Does the Enlightenment have any short comings? Watch the video to find out.

MSRP: $4795 - Complete w/XT Build Kit

Here are a couple of facts about the bike that we experienced - aside from everything we said, these are just the facts.

1) We set personal bests at the Old Pueblo lap by 3 minutes. You can't buy that kind of training, but you obviously buy it in a bike.

2) On the rougher XC race at the White Tank mountains, the bike beat me up. Same exact lap times as our trusty 26" dual suspension only I was worked.

3) We were able to turn in the third fastest time ever on our Bicycle World test track. Which is a very tight track. I worked harder to do it, but it seemed like the harder I pushed it, the better it cornered.
