We all have our social causes we like to support. And while bikes are a passion for all our friends and viewers of this site, it doesn' necessarily mean that we get behind every bike cause that comes along. But this one is different.
What caught my attention about this movie is the concept and the spririt from which it is being made.Just watching the trailor you get that this isnt a tree hugger or hippie movement. It is just a legit, from the heart, project that is being made by someone comfortable in their in own skin. They aren't trying to sell a lifestyle but more show others what is possible.
This is a kickstarter funded movie and they have already raised enough money to produce the documentary in full. So we are not asking you to support this cause. But if you are like us, and it strikes a chord with you, you can still make a donation of pretty much any size to help this director do an even better job in post production and publicity for the film by going to the movies kickstarter page here
Anyway, here is trailer from the movie for you to check out and be aware of. The documentary, which was made with the help of everyday people like you and me, shooting video and telling their story about bike commuting will be coming to a theater near you soon. We (Bicycle World TV) hopes to be able to get a list of theaters across the country to help promote the movie.
The movie/documenatary is a compilation of everyday riders - documenting their stories and Director Liz Channing shooting interviews and providing interesting socal insights.
