Its no joke that downhill mountian bike racing is the pinnacle of our off road sport. With steep terrain, big jumps, roots, rocks and mother nature, nothing tests the equipement and riders skill like it. When you take top level talent and have them start creating courses that they think are challenging you have a recipe for great events. Dan Atherton started building the Hardline event with the blessing of the families RedBull sponsor several year ago.

Dans' skill as a course builder is probably on par with his sick riding skills and Hardline is his iteration of the "dream" dh course. This year Bernard Kerr won his first big race in taking the crown of 2016 Hardline event.
