2012 24 Hours of Old Pueblo creeps up on us....

There may be 24 hours in every day, but not every day is like the 24 Hours of Old Pueblo. In fact, history and mother nature will make sure that this years running of the Old Pueblo will be as unique as always. Last year it was 6 hours of Mo nature throwing down her best on the hearty souls who camped in the Tucson foothills, before that was perfection, and several years before that was snow....Every one of the 3500 cycling fans goes home with the best souvenir of all  - memories.

Kona Bikes continues to show their support and whole hearted love of riding - taking on the title sponsor for the 13th running of this Grand Daddy of all 24 hour events.

One thing that will remain similar is vendor town, the carne asada food vendors and great memories that will be made.

Of course Bicycle World TV will be there to covering the event, shooting photos, sharing in the festivities just as we did for the La Ruta De Los Conquistadores race. So if you are not going to make it, you can always check back here next week to get the skinny. If you want more information like directions to the event you can check out Epic Rides. While it is too late to register for this weekend, you can sign up for the Whiskey 50 - which will definitely be bigger, badder and have more prize money than any other race in this country.

Oh yeah, if you want to go down there to check it out, be sure to bring 2 cans of food per person to help with the food drive.
